Greenhill Walks Starting on 17th June 2009

Last year we held walks every Wednesday night for around eight weeks and we're going to be starting these again from Wednesday 17th June 2009 at 7pm, going to Rough Castle Roman Wall. It will be similar to our Walk + Photo series but this time called EnviroWalkers! So if you're interested, get your camera polished up! If you don't have a camera we can lend you one. We'll also be providing some historical information for the trip so you can imagine the community in previous times!

Keep an eye out for the postcards, old photography, a timeline leaflet, a walking route map and a variety of other materials coming out… Continue

Hello, the Photography Society is going really well!! We meet at the centre on Saturday mornings at 10am, for around two hours. We've made trips to a lot of places in search of good photo opportunities; last week's trip was a journey down the Forth and Clyde Canal courtesy of a friend of one of our members. Our exhibition went well at the end of last year and we hope to do another one in the summer.

If you fancy coming along it is never too late and we can lend you a camera if you don't have on… Continue
